Installation is a snap
Each deployment is delivered with a complete kit with all necessary equipment, components, cables/wiring. All elements are tested and validated end to end in our lab prior to shipping – along with detailed instructions. There is also an NFC mobile app for remote field configuration. This lets customers use their own staff for installations – or hire local third-party installers.
Flexible data presentation options
Data feed to SCADA systems such as Ignition and/or
Use our own Milesight Web and Mobile based applications
Affordable
All-in, Fixed Pricing for Implementations
No need to worry about time and materials for implementations. Pricing can be provided based on easy-to-understand, unit-based fixed pricing, including:
Per site
Per Sensor/Meter
Per Project
No Digging, Trenching, or External Power
With our all-solar, fully wireless architecture, installations avoid any need for providing external power or conduits for cables to reach remote sensors and meters. This eliminates the hidden cost of site preparation – and also does away with added operational costs for supplemental electricity. Minimal costs for cellular connectivity.
Minimal or zero backhaul costs
By aggregating data from remotely monitored assets to a central gateway, we avoid the layered cost of multiple cellular connections. An entire site – with multiple, dispersed equipment being monitored - can usually use a single cellular connection for backhaul. Better yet, if there is internet connectivity already provided at the gateway site, backhaul can be completely cost-free.
Green
Wireless, Solar Powered Controllers
Monitoring Devices minimize environmental impact
No added electricity or power load
No secondary environmental impact
Reduces or eliminates truck rolls to remote sites, providing additional savings on fuel consumption
Power over Ethernet (PoE) hardware
Electricity usage is further minimized by using power-over-ethernet (PoE) to drive our gateways, cellular modems and other equipment
Less cables, less plastic waste at each site
Certifiable data for government agencies
Providing data to government entities to validate applications for greenhouse gas credits
Ability to cost-effectively monitor for greenhouse gas emissions – as well as noxious gasses such as H2S provides protection against fines and penalties for unlawful emissions
